Pale Moon is a Firefox-type browser for Windows. This browser was designed to seize the hardware and software resources of your system running Windows. The download link will install a program that will subsequently let you download the installers for the version 3.6.15 or 4.0.5.
The latest version of the browser will import your Firefox or Internet Explorer settings flawlessly, provided you download and use a program that will appear on the page that will be opened once you finish Pale Moon´s installation.
The main advantage of this browser is that it is a tuned up version of the Mozilla Firefox browser, without redundant and optional code. At the same time, Pale Moon offers several enhancements, like increased speed of page drawing and script processing, support for SVG, Canvas, and downloadable fonts (including WOFF), support for HTML5, WebGL and OOPP (Out-of-process plugin execution).
The current version runs on most modern processors, but it does not run on Athlon XP machines (the version 3.6.15 is the last one for these processors).

Pale Moon is a fast, stable and customizable OpenSource browser with security options which other browsers didn't have (like the intern XSS filter).
From my side, I highly recommend Pale Moon!
Used to be good, but not anymore. Will look for a new alternative to Firefox.
